GIVEAWAY PAGE (For February, 2026) This Month's Free Song:
Woe Unto Me (Made the Angels Cry) Hello there once again, troubled world, and welcome to the chucktrevino.com free song giveaway page for February, 2026. I've got enough troubles of my own, that's for sure. But I don't want to trouble anybody about them, if it's not absolutely necessary; that would be taking extreme liberties! I have been known to do that on this website. Sorry about your troubles... I'm sure you must have some; after all, most everybody does. This month's free song was rather quickly conjured up, seeing as how I was somewhat delayed in delivering it, due to some unforeseen troubles; but it's halfway through the month already and I'm still alive, and having not so good a time! By the way, Happy POTUS Day; hope we all have many more. As I said up there already, this month's free song is called Woe Unto Me (Made the Angels Cry). It's kind of a sad little number, reflective of my sorry troubled state of mind. Actually though, when I trouble myself to read the news lately, I see that a heck of a lot of people have got worse troubles than I, if I can believe that; it does trouble me something awful, when I contemplate some of the bad things that are happening out there. The only consolation I get is when I read a world history book, as I do now and then, and I see that things are actually less troubled than they used to be in, say, the time period before Christianity became popular; my, we used to be mean to each other back then. It does help somewhat to know that we've come a long way from that... some of us, that is. I've been spending a lot of time indoors of late, and I must say, it's done wonders for my grouchy attitude. And I've been getting a lot done, also. In fact, this month's free song is actually one movement of my latest project, a "rock symphony" that I've been wanting to try my hand at for a long time now; sort of a faux, synthesized, orchestral type of thing, or so I style it. I'm not sure where this particular number will fit in; I meant to put it toward the end, but who knows. I don't even know how many movements the darn thing is going to have yet! In fact, I don't even know if I'll even get around to finishing it, so troubled have I been feeling lately; but that's my problem, not yours. You've all got enough problems of your own, I assume. Hope this song's not too sad for anyone; I intend to make the other "movements" a bit more upbeat, in fact I want to take the listener's mood sort of "up and down," like a good classical composer does. I mean for it to be kind of like Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakav's "Sherherazade," but not that good of course. After all, he's Rimsky, and I'm just poor little Charles, but I do try. And remember, this is meant to be a "rock" symphony... it's not supposed to sound real good! That's my excuse. Like I said, we'll see how things go. This song is dedicated to my long suffering family, with all of my love. And also to anyone who has ever made the angels cry; woe unto us! We are not peaceful souls. My advice to anyone who has done so: do what I do. Fall on your knees and beg forgiveness from Whoever is up there listening, and pray for peace! It's worked for me many times in the past, I'll attest to that truthfully. But I'm a person who's always in need of a miracle, it seems. Peace to all. God bless.
